Death Announcement

Ebiri Ndewo nu!

The President Chief Mike Awa on behalf of IPAI announces with deep sorrow but gratitude
to God for life well spent, the passing on to glory of our IPAI member, Mrs. Priscillia Ugo
Ekeoma of Umu-Obasi, Amankalu Igbere.

Late Ugo Ekeoma is the wife of Mazi Arisa Agbai Ekeoma and the sister of Engr. Peter
Imaa, former Secretary, IPAI Caretaker Committee, and current IPAI Board of Directors
member (Tel. 626-665-3822).

Late Mrs. Ugo Ekeoma died on Friday, May 1, 2009 at a hospital in her residential area
Fontana, California, after a protracted illness. Being an Igbere daughter, wife, mother, and
sister, we are deeply sadden, devastated and in shock by her death. Words can not
describe how much she loves her family and Igbere Community. She has demonstrated a
commendable dedication to making Igbere better in many ways including through her
membership to the Pacific Coast Chapter of Igbere Progressive Association International
and indeed the central body.

Like many other well meaning Igbere citizens, she attended our last IPAI Convention 2007
in Atlanta and participated in all aspects of the programme for the betterment of Igbere
Community. She had planned to attend the forth coming Washington DC 2009 having
ordered her women wrapper for Ohuwa Dance.

Late Sister Ugo Ekeoma's vibrancy, smiles, jokes, hospitality, motherly care and devotion
to Almighty God made her a role model for many people. Those of us who know her
personally are gravely heart broken and distressed by her departure to the great beyond
and we will always miss her physical presence and enduring kindness.

We love and cherish our departed wife, sister, mother and daughter but the God who
giveth and taketh life loves her more. Late Ugo Ekeoma's life may have been brief from
our human perspective, but she led exemplary life which is worthy of emulation and as
such, left indelible marks that would always make us proud as Igbere people.

We can neither fathom why God would call her back to His Glory at the prime age of 48
years, nor question God for His ways are beyond our comprehension. However, we are
confident that she is now at the bosom of God, where we shall meet her to depart no
more, if we run a good race.

A virtuous woman, late Ugo Ekeoma is survived by her husband Mr. Arisa Agbai Ekeoma,
a daughter Ms. Joy Ekeoma and two sons, James Ekeoma and Ben Ekeoma.

As we all mourn her death, let us remember to reach-out to Arisa Ekeoma's family through
this number: 626-399-3357 for your condolence message. You may also contact this
family through Peter Imaa (Tel. 626-665-3822).

We pray to the Almighty God - our Everlasting Father, Infinite Intelligence and our
Comforter to grant us and especially this family, the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.

Information about burial arrangement would be communicated through this medium and
on IPAI website www.ipaiinc.org as they become available.

Remain blessed,
